Major Visual Changes Releases for THRONE OF LIES One Year Anniversary

Indie hit Throne of Lies: The Online Game of Deceit (PC/Mac/Linux on Steam) announced big major changes for the social-deduction game’s second year. In a patch released today, on the game’s one-year anniversary, ToL developers have completely revamped the game’s 3D character models along with adding a variety of additions for the v2.0 anniversary patch.

In order to properly celebrate, new pieces of ornate armor and weaponry are being forged in the castle’s fires to mark the occasion. Members of the adoring public also plan to celebrate their love of the crown with new classes, animations, additional emote slots, and deathnote colors. In addition, Castle Adiart will be decorated for the event with several revamped rooms, as all members of the community celebrate the tremendous event.

The revamped models fulfill a goal that Imperium42 Game Studio (i42) has talked about since release: While the Throne of Lies game mechanics have been refined and new classes, items, emotes and deathnote colors have been added throughout the first year, the games visual style stayed the same since changes made in early Beta. i42 continues the promise to deliver free updates for life - essentially, free DLC’s (Downloadable Content / Expansions).

To further celebrate this accomplishment with 50,000 other players, Throne of Lies will be on sale for 50% off for the first week of October!

Throne of Lies is a mafia-style social deduction game that enhances the genre with over 40 classes, 100+ abilities, online multiplayer, 3D visuals, vibrant lore, royal classes, multiple evil factions and a well-balanced conversion system that makes every game contentious until the end; it is a throwback to the days when friends could gather around to stab each other in the back.

The game challenges players to use their in-game abilities and personal deduction skills to find the traitors seated at the round table and has found itself on the Twitch Top 10 with over 27,000 concurrent viewers and recently saw over 2,800 unique players in a single 24 hour span. The game also features an active community on Discord with 13,000 members on the official Throne of Lies server (complete with invite/spectate features) at https://discord.gg/tol .

The game’s developers, i42, is a small, independent studio with just eight developers (two programmers) working on their flagship title from around the globe. Throne of Lies came to prominence early last year when it launched a successful Kickstarter campaign that raised $20,000 to finish development before launching in September 2017.

MIMPI ON MARS! A new episode of MIMPI DREAMS is finally out!

Dreadlocks Mobile is pleased to announce the release of long-awaited new episode for Mimpi Dreams on Steam (PC/Mac/Linux), Android and iOS along with release of a game update that contains many improvements and additions.

This is an attempt to revive the game, after the original team behind Mimpi Dreams, Silicon Jelly, ended their operations in 2016. Its core team of designers developed this new episode under the wing of Dreadlocks Mobile.

Premium new episode MARS
Mimpi's new episode, a dream of Mars, is a real tribute to this resurrection. It is larger than all previous levels together. Larger than the whole rest of Mimpi Dreams. It is made of thousands of graphical assets and hundreds of sounds, contains a new story, new puzzles and hiden areas. After the game is updated, this new episode becomes available for purchase directly in the game's main menu.

Free to play model on Android and PC
For two years Android players begged for a change of the monetization model of Mimpi Dreams. Free players had only 2 lives to finish the level, or they had to start over, unless they bought unlimited lives. This new update replaced this with episodic model. The first five episodes are now completely free and the only thing that players are asked to buy are new levels. The same model has been applied to the PC version on Steam.

Free on AppStore for a limited time.
To celebrate this large update we’re giving away Mimpi Dreams for free also for Apple users for a limited time. This 100% off sale will last only few days.
The new game update also contains:
  • New costumes for Mimpi and challenges to get them
  • New soundtrack
  • Free iStickers with Mimpi for Apple users
  • Many bugfixes and improvements
  • The game is available on PC, Android and iOS.

Rotorheads Rejoice As Attack Helicopters Take Flight in WAR THUNDER

Gaijin Entertainment today announced the release of content Update 1.81 “The Valkyries” for the vehicular combat game War Thunder. It introduces combat helicopters as a playable vehicle type and adds plenty of other content to the game, including new tanks and aircraft, new locations and the Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS One support for the Xbox One version.

Combat helicopters are the latest type of vehicle added to the arsenals of War Thunder, with a dozen variants for the United States and Soviet Union leading the initial spearhead for this update. For the U.S., this includes three variants of the Bell UH-1 Huey, a true symbol of the Vietnam War, as well as three variants of the Bell AH-1 Cobra, the first dedicated combat helicopter to enter series production. The Soviet Union receives the multi-purpose Mi-4AV, multiple variants of the famous “flying tank” Mi-24 “Crocodile” (NATO reporting name “Hind”) and its modern modification Mi-35M.

During the initial closed testing, helicopters will be able to participate in combined arms battles with ground vehicles on all difficulty settings, where they will be able to use their impressive armament of cannons, rockets, bombs and guided missiles with lethal effect in close air support and anti-tank duty. Vulnerable against attacks from anti-air vehicles as well as aircraft, helicopter pilots have to use their speed and maneuverability to evade incoming fire, use the environment to hide and learn to strike at the right moment. To research and play with helicopters, players can join the closed testing by completing special in-game tasks or through the purchase of a helicopter pack in the store. More helicopters for different nations will follow with future content updates and new game modes involving helicopters are planned to be trialed during testing.

Further additions include new modern tanks and aircraft, including the M247 Sergeant York SPAAG with proximity fuse shells for the U.S., the popular French Batignolles-Châtillon Char 25t, the Leopard A1A1 with L/44 cannon for Germany as well as the T-80B for the Soviet Union. Four new locations are also available: On “American Desert”, ground vehicles engage in close-quarter-combat in a fictional American village of the 60s, while “Vietnam” challenges pilots to heated dogfights over the indochinese jungle. “Mediterranean Port” and “Green Mountains Gulf” are two new naval maps modelled after the Italian and North Sea coast, respectively.

ASA Studio have now released BFF or Die on PC for Windows, Mac and Linux after more than four years in development.

Congratulations! It’s graduation day at the Intergalactic Time Academy! No time for celebrating though, the Orbees are missing and your first mission is to find them. We have a trace on their signal so jump in the Space-Time Machine and go rescue them! Prepare for a time-travelling adventure of cunning and camaraderie.

BFF or Die is both a single player and a local multiplayer co-op game where characters and players must work together to survive. Friendships will be strengthened and teamwork will be tested in a unique adventure. BFF or Die is all about togetherness and will have players gathered around the PC or TV remembering what was good about the time gaming was all about playing with real life earth humans.

Two players can share the same control pad or take control of different sides of the keyboard or you can go the traditional route and have a separate controller each. So grab your BFFs and get ready for some exciting co-op puzzling for 1-4 players. Once you’ve rescued the Orbees you can attempt The Infinite Trials for some extra hard and unpredictable challenges.

“We’ve been taking BFF or Die out to public events since the start of development, seeing how 2000+ people reacted so we can improve the experience. That’s four and a half years of playtesting and feedback!” Co-founder of ASA Studio, Shaz Yousaf, said. “After all that time polishing gameplay details it’s great to be able to release BFF or Die into the wider world!”

In BFF or Die everyone has their role to play. Each teammate controls a gadget - lights, drones, towers and more; all these skills must be combined to overcome challenges and stay alive. Work together or you die together.

BFF or Die has enjoyed a string of successes since 2014 including being successfully Greenlit on Steam in six days and being granted funding by the UK Games Fund. An early prototype was awarded Best Multiplayer Game by an industry panel of judges in the UK leg of Game On 2.0, the prize being part of a nine month exhibition showcasing the history of video games which was organised by TIGA and Barbican. BFF or Die was featured on the Develop Conference Indie Showcase and at PAX West by Intel after winning a spot in their Level-Up competition.
