Open PVP update, ballistas, signing crafting items, new quests, performance improvements
The last few weeks was intense for Gloria Victis development. We applied a series of huge updates, which improved and expanded many layers of the game and started a week-long 50% sale on Steam.
We released a huge Open PVP update last week, adding 4 new guild locations to capture, including both forts for smaller guilds and mid-tier castles. At the same time we doubled the experience gathered from PVP and introduced a new workers system. From now on, alive workers in guild-controlled locations will produce resources over time which can be taken by a guild ruling given province, or with force by enemies. Moreover, knowing that some players prefer to stick just to PVP, we just doubled the experience gained for it.
In addition, we recently expanded the siege engines system with addition of ballistas. It’s another step to introduce more advanced player-controlled objects, such as battering rams, catapults and eventually ships and mounts.
Other major changes done over the last few weeks include: improved servers’ performance, AI update, possibility to sign items crafted by a players and new quests.
