Pathfinder Games has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Vanguard: Normandy 1944, which is scheduled to arrive on Early Access on Steam in Q4 2018. Powered by CRYENGINE, the very same engine that was used for illustrious games such as Crysis 1,2 & 3, the earlier games in the Far Cry series and lately the indevelopment Hunt: Showdown by Crytek.
Vanguard: Normandy 1944 presents authentically recreated battlefields from World War II, where players will experience the intensity of close-quarters firefights in an online multiplayer shooter which rewards teamwork and tactics.

Gamers are given the freedom to complete objectives how they see fit as they take on missions where every life matters and survival is critical to success, but because Vanguard: Normandy 44 delivers an infantry style gameplay, one careless mistake and a single bullet can punish the player and his squad.
The game gives you the option of choosing which 'faction' to represent whether it be the British Commandos or the German Wehrmacht.
Choose the Commandos and you'll be storming the Normandy coast but choose the German Wehrmacht and you'll need to hold crucial objectives as the elite 6th Airborne.
Pathfinder Games have consulted historians on everything from locations to weapons and uniforms to give the player an authentic experience as you face the same D-Day challenges as in the events of World War II.
