Soon gamers will be able to play Wuppo and chill, because the peculiar yet charming indie game is coming to Origin Access. SOEDESCO has closed a deal with EA and as a result, Wuppo gets its Origin Access release today.
Hans van Brakel, Executive Manager at SOEDESCO, is pleased with this outcome: “We are proud that Wuppo has become a part of Origin Access as the first SOEDESCO game ever. After all, this means that a very broad audience can now enjoy this wonderful indie.”
Wuppo’s charm
Wuppo is a quirky action adventure platformer with RPG elements, developed by Dutch studio Knuist en Perzik. Players assume the role of a Wum looking for a new home, embarking on a bizarre journey through a charming world full of weird creatures, puzzles, bosses and political chaos. The game was very well received, it has an “overwhelmingly positive” review score on Steam with 96% positive reviews, and was even praised “hidden indie gem of the year” by PC Gamer.
How does it work?
Origin Access is a PC gaming subscription. With a subscription to the Origin Access service, gamers can freely download and play all games in The Vault for a monthly fee. Moreover, subscribers get the chance to try out new games days before their release.
Wuppo is available for purchase in the Origin Store
