10 CUPCAKES changes name to EXPERIMENT GONE ROGUE

Repulse Game Studio announces a name change for their upcoming virtual reality game. The game was previously known as “10 Cupcakes” and will now be called “Experiment Gone Rogue”. The company decided to change the name as it no longer fits the story or style of the game.

“What we envisioned about our game at first grew and evolved with time into something unique and ambitious. The more we worked on the project, the more we felt like our original working title didn't fit our creative vision and expectations, so we concluded that rebranding is necessary. We strongly believe that the final title 'Experiment Gone Rogue' represents the narrative of our game, the gameplay we've developed and as we concluded from our closed beta tests, engages our community better than our previous working title '10 Cupcakes'." says Nikolay Marinov, game developer at Repulse.

Experiment Gone Rogue has been in development for almost 2 years and is preparing for launch on Steam this fall. The game is a sci-fi shooter that runs on Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. It offers around 2 and a half hours of gameplay. The game experience includes exploration, climbing, combat fighting, shooting, boss fights, an interactive story and more. Another round of beta testing and release date will be announced soon.
